And to your question: Well, I'm not the personification of autumn going around and prink all the little leaves on the trees.^^" You have to move them to a stable surface (in my case a cutting mat from ecobra) and be very careful with the cutting as well, because I cut them a few minutes after I picked them up and they are quite fragile.
This must have taken a lot of time and patience... to make all those cuts so precise and keep the leaf whole and clean looking. I especially like it because fall is my favorite time of year. I've never seen someone do this so the discovery of something new is refreshing. Apart from that I also like how it differentiates from what other people tend to do during the season with Thanksgiving, Halloween or cookie cutter sketches, and photographs of trees.
This is beautiful! I admit I've been thinking of trying to do something like this for a while, and was curious if other people had explored the idea of cutting leaves. Wonderful work, it looks so much more intricate than I think I could ever manage! I love the design!
Thank you very much, try it out yourself and show me when it's finished. It's really a lot of fun. There are other people who are true masters at this, but they use a different technique and just remove the upper layer, so that you still can see the veins.^^
